I am an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at University College Dublin. I received my BE (Hons) from Jadavpur University (2005), MTech from IIT Kharagpur (2007), and PhD from the University of California, Davis (2012). I have authored over 100 publications across journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters.
My research interests include cross-layer optimisation in wired and wireless networks, network reliability, mathematics of networks (optimisation, graph theory), network virtualisation, software-defined networks, machine learning, data analytics, and quantum communication. I am a Senior Member of IEEE. I am currently supervising several PhD students and welcome enquiries from prospective researchers.
I teach at the postgraduate level in the School of Computer Science at UCD, and currently supervise four PhD students. Current modules are listed below.
